Visit Suurbraak Skrynwerkers to see the outstanding hand made "Van Gogh" chairs manufactured. They are made from canary pine and woven sea grass seats, using old 'bodging' method.

Xairu Crafts is situated in the info office on Rossouw Plein in the center of the town. This craft center sells homemade jams and chutneys, as well as other handcrafted items such as grass brooms, painted tiles and fabrics, embroideries and clothing.
