The
quant fishing harbour, is picturesque
with a collection of very small fishing
boats, looking particularly vulnerable
in relation to the wildness of the sea.
The harbour is at present being used by
both fishing and ski boats.
Walk
along the 14 km uninterrupted white beach
and look for some unique shells along
the shoreline of the bay.
Enjoy
swimming or sunbathing at this popular
swimming beach. There are change-rooms
alongside the beach, with showers and
toilets.
Boat
based whale watching from the Struisbaai
harbour is a popular attraction when these
gentle giants arrive from the arctic waters
to mate and calve during May to December.
Coastal
Safaris offer Land Rover tours along the
coast of Cape Aghulhas and Struisbaai.

will take you to see rare bird species,
Khoe khoe kitchens, shipwrecks and ancient
fish traps.
Visit
the nearby Aghulhas National Park. The
area around the southern-most tip of Africa,
often referred to as the Aghulhas Plain,
